Frequently asked questions
Does pasting a link send anything to a server?
Yes. When you paste a URL, the address is sent to a hosted function that fetches the post's public details so the card can be filled in. If you type the content in manually instead, nothing is sent.
Why did fetching a post fail?
Posts from private or protected accounts, deleted posts, and posts the platform will not serve to an automated request cannot be retrieved. You can still compose the card manually.
Can I use the image anywhere I like?
The image you generate reproduces someone else's content. Normal rules about attribution and permission apply — this tool changes the format, not the ownership.
