Image to PDF
Scans, receipts, screenshots and photographed documents are usually easier to send and archive as one PDF than as a folder of loose image files. This tool takes the images you select and lays them out as pages in a single document, one image per page.
The whole document is assembled in your browser with a JavaScript PDF library, so the images never leave your device.

- Select or drag in one or more images (JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF).
- Drag the thumbnails to set the page order, or remove any you don't want.
- Choose a page size: A4, Letter, or Auto-fit to Image.
- For A4 or Letter, choose Portrait or Landscape.
- Select Convert to PDF, then Download PDF.
Supported formats: JPEG/JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF images; PDF output. An animated GIF contributes only its first frame.
Page size and orientation
Portrait and Landscape only apply when Page Size is A4 or Letter; they set which way round the fixed page is.

Things worth knowing
- The downloaded file is always named images.pdf; rename it afterward if you need something else.
- An animated GIF keeps only its first frame, since a PDF page has no concept of animation.
- The Orientation choice is ignored when Page Size is set to Auto-fit to Image.
- One PDF comes out per conversion. To pull pages back apart afterward, or extract just one, use Split PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Can I combine several images into one PDF?
Yes. Select multiple images and each one becomes its own page, in the order you drag the thumbnails into.
What image formats are accepted?
JPEG/JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF. Other formats are rejected before upload with an error message.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The PDF is built in your browser with a JavaScript PDF library, so the images stay on your device.
Will the images lose quality?
Each image is scaled to fit the page with a margin, keeping its original proportions, so it is not stretched or cropped. Scaling a low-resolution image up to a large page will still make it look soft, so pick a page size that suits your images, or use Auto-fit to Image to size the page to the image instead.
Does transparency survive in the PDF?
Yes, for PNG. A transparent PNG keeps its transparency once it is placed on the PDF page.
What happens if I upload an animated GIF?
Only its first frame is used. A PDF page is a static image, so there is no way to carry the animation across; the page shows a single still frame.
What is the downloaded file named?
Always images.pdf. Rename it after downloading if you need a different file name.
