Color Palette
When you are building a design around a photograph — a slide deck, a landing page, a poster — it helps to start from colours that are already in the image. This tool samples an image and reports the colours that dominate it.
Each colour comes with its HEX and RGB values, ready to paste into a stylesheet, a design tool or a document theme.
Runs in your browser. Color Palette processes your input on your own device. Nothing you enter or upload is sent to a server.
How to use the Color Palette
- Upload the image you want to sample.
- Let the tool analyse it and build the palette.
- Click any swatch to copy its HEX or RGB value.
Supported formats: Any image format your browser can display.
Frequently asked questions
How are the colours chosen?
The image pixels are read from a canvas and grouped, so the palette reflects the colours that actually occupy the most area in the picture rather than a fixed set of presets.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The image is read locally in your browser and is never sent anywhere.
Can I get the values as HEX?
Yes. Every colour in the palette is shown with both its HEX and RGB representation, and you can copy either.
