Fast browser-based tools for images, PDFs, text and code. Most run entirely on your device.
WebzTools is a collection of free browser-based tools covering images, PDFs, text and everyday utilities. Open the one you need directly, with nothing to install and, for most tools, no account required.
The lineup includes image compression and background removal, PDF splitting and conversion, text utilities like word counting and email extraction, and generators for QR codes, passwords and more. Most tools process everything locally in your browser; the few that need a server say so upfront.
No hidden fees, and no registration for most tools. The exception is Tweet to Image, which needs an email sign-in to fetch a post from its link.

Compress a JPG, PNG or WebP to a smaller JPEG: by quality, or to a target size such as 100 KB
Drag & drop an image or click to upload
Need a specific file size? After you choose an image you can pick 50 KB, 100 KB, 200 KB or your own limit, or set the quality by hand.
Pick a limit and the tool finds the best JPEG that fits. Pixels are only removed when quality alone cannot get there.
KB here means 1,024 bytes, the unit used for every file size on this page. A few upload forms count 1 KB as 1,000 bytes, so leave a little margin if a limit is strict.

Measure in millimetres, centimetres and inches, calibrated to your screen
This ruler starts at the standard browser scale of 96 pixels per inch, a reasonable approximation but not a physical guarantee. Your screen's real pixel density, any operating system display scaling, and your browser zoom level all change how many pixels actually cover an inch of glass. Calibrate it against a bank card or another object of known size to get a scale that matches your screen and browser window right now.
Hold a standard bank or payment card flat against your screen over the shape below. Move the slider until the shape's width matches the card exactly, then confirm.
Enter the real length of an object you have on hand, such as a note or a ticket, then drag the bar until it matches that object on screen.
Calibration matches the scale to your current screen and browser zoom. Changing the browser zoom level, the display's operating system scaling, or moving the window to a different monitor can all shift the pixels-per-inch again, so recalibrate after any of those. Reading accuracy also depends on how carefully you line up the zero mark and the marker with the object's edges, and on the flatness of your screen surface and bezel. Please do not press sharp, heavy or hot objects against your screen while measuring.
Convert length, weight, temperature, speed and area. Calculated in your browser.
Examples: 12, 1.5, 3/4 or 2 1/4.
Type in either box. Reset clears all values and restores the starting units.
Find a ratio, resize without stretching, and compare Fit with Fill. Calculated in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
The size of your image or video frame, in pixels.
Type a new width or a new height. The other one is calculated from the original shape. Whichever box you type in is the one you entered.
Choose the shape of the frame you must fill, such as a vertical video. Your original dimensions above are never changed.
An illustration of the geometry, drawn from your numbers. It is not a preview of your own picture or footage.
Enter valid original dimensions and a target frame to see the comparison.
Reset restores the 1920 × 1080 starting example. This calculator gives dimensions and guidance; it does not resize or crop images or video.
Work out the tip, see what you owe, and split the bill to the exact cent. Calculated in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Type your receipt total, such as 84.50, with a period and no commas. Tax or a service charge already in it stays in it; nothing is added again.
The currency changes the symbol only. No exchange rate is used.
Example: a total of 71.20 becomes 72.00, and the 0.80 difference is counted as extra tip. A total that is already whole is left alone.
These amounts are already part of your bill. They are not extra charges and are never added again. They only decide which part of the bill the tip is worked out on. Leave them empty if you do not need them.
A service charge may or may not already be a gratuity. Check your receipt before deciding whether to add more.
The step-by-step breakdown appears here once the bill, tip and number of people are valid.
This is a calculator, not tax or legal advice. Tipping customs differ by country and by service; the percentages here are examples, not recommendations.
Count calendar or business days, or add and subtract dates. Calculated in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Balanced detail and colors. A good starting point for most images.
Lower values merge similar colors into fewer shapes. Higher values keep more distinct colors.
Lower values keep subtle shade steps, which makes more shapes. Higher values merge them.
Pixels darker than this become black. Transparent areas count as white.
Ignores regions smaller than this many pixels on a side. Higher values drop more tiny specks and detail.
Refits smooth curves with fewer points, within this many pixels. Higher values make smaller, simpler paths.

Quality applies to JPG and WebP files: lower values make smaller files with more visible loss. PNG files are optimized losslessly instead, so quality does not apply to them. Pixel dimensions are not changed.
